Finance Manager

An exciting Finance Manager job has opened up at a global loss adjusting company.

About the Finance Manager Role:
Reporting to the Regional Finance Director (RFD) for Asia located in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for the financial side of the business in the Philippines with a dotted line to the Country Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate financial accounting including AP, AR, IC invoicing, asset management and depreciation
• Collect outstanding receivables
• Manage KPIs such as days of sales outstanding WIP and AR
• Report on a country level to the manager in Hong Kong
• Legal compliance – work with RFD to ensure an optimised legal set-up
• Contribute to initiatives and help drive all large improvement processes
• Urgrade the financial system to follow group standard systems
• Oversee and manage cash flow
• Budget and legal projections - actual vs budget analysis
• Coordinate and prepare monthly actual status and all annual financials
• Year-end audit planning and execution
• Manage corporate income tax, staff withholding tax and other Philippine taxes compliance and reporting
• Manage local registrations and statutory reporting
• Provide business support to the local management team
• Manage payroll
• Other ad hoc administration tasks

To succeed in this Finance Manager role, must possess a strong can-do approach and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of three years' experience in auditing and/or accounting, ideally gained while working with international exposure
• Deep knowledge of accounting
• Strong analytical skills and abilities
• The highest level of communication and interpersonal skills is required
• Fluency in English as well as local languages; both written and verbal
• Advanced Excel skills
• Philippine tax knowledge
• Readiness to take initiative and work independently
• Respect for deadlines and delivery of result
• Attention to detail
• Excellent administrative skills
• Experience in SAP is a plus
• Flexible and able to thrive in a dynamic international environment
• Hands-on problem-solving attitude
• Good team player
