An exciting Senior Accountant job has opened up at a retail company based in Makati.
About the Senior Accountant Role:
The Senior Accountant role is responsible for overall financial reporting and preparation of statutory filings. The Senior Accountant will also assist in inventory management and audit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a full set of account, prepare monthly financial reports
- Check monthly closing documents from stores
- Prepare and file VAT/WHT
- Prepare and review CIT filing
- Prepare other statutory filings
- Oversee the documents compliance for opening/closing stores
- Manage quarterly inventory checks at store
- Take charge of year-end audit, liaise with auditors
To succeed in this Senior Accountant role, must possess a strong can-do approach and the ability to work autonomously.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an accounting-related major
- CPA certification is preferred
- Around five years' experience
- Good attention to detail, positive and willing to learn
- Fluency in English
- Retail experience is an advantage
