About the Australian Accountant Role:
The AU Accountant maintains a close working relationship with Australian based clients/business teams. The Australian Accountant will be a part of a growing team of accountants in the Philippines and will be responsible for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of bookkeeping and tax reports, and all other tax related transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in tax compliance within Australian Tax services
• Conduct and examine the annual financial reports and statements
• Proactively collect, Verify, identifying any outstanding information, and notifying engagement team when accomplished
• Prepare e-filing tax returns, including clearing diagnostics, submission of returns, clearing rejections, filing confirmations, engagement team notification
• Tax research, writing and consulting on various compliance tax matters
• Keep track of client and file specifications to guarantee compliance, including fulfilling time and deadline demands

To succeed in this AU Accountant role, you must have at least three years’ experience in Australian Accounting and Taxation with the use of Xero accounting software.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in Australian Accounting and Taxation
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
• Experience in utilising Xero accounting software
• Excellent communication skills who can work in all levels in the organisation
• Strong work ethics, analytical, team player
• Focused and keen to details
• Ability work under pressure with excellent stakeholder management
• Must be amenable to working on an Australian shift schedule
