About the Finance Operations Manager Role:
The Finance Operations Manager is responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organisation; comfortable with handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner decision-maker, and providing regular management reporting. The Finance Operations Manager will work closely with the Head of Finance in pushing the team to its full potential, ensuring that the objectives and key results of the team and group are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee treasury and revenue assurance to mitigate risks in the working capital cycle and ensure that receivables are collected on time, and available funds are fully optimised
• Partner with banks and other financial institutions to ensure that available solutions are implemented to control and optimise the working capital of the group, including availment of credit lines and float optimisation programmes
• Partner with data and business intelligence to automate and manage risk concerning revenue computation and billing
• Work closely with the clients to effectively and efficiently address their concerns, always thinking of the customer-centricity value of the group, including tax documents and implications, rate card questions, and contest management
• Oversee the financial activities of the group for financial reporting and work with management to make financial decisions. You will interface with executives and managers of other departments, implement group policies, and respond to questions and issues concerning finance matters
• Partner with business development and legal in ensuring that commercial terms are economically viable and boiler-plate terms reasonably manage the risk of the group
• Evaluate the accounting and external data to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and operating effectiveness of the organisation
• Liaise with the Head of Finance in monitoring and addressing pain points in the execution of key results and objectives of the team
• Work with the Head of Finance in managing relationships with investors, funding rounds, and post-funding round conditions
• Drive optimisation projects, ensuring that repetitive tasks are automated, necessary reporting integrations are executed, and economies of scope are generated within the group
• Support FP&A Manager to prepare, analyse, and report financial performance against business plan and key metrics. Prepare budget and regular forecast of the group
• Support the Accounting Manager in ensuring that external financial reporting reflects fully the results and position of the group
• Provide timely review, feedback, escalation, and recommendations within the finance team

To succeed in this Finance Operations Manager role, you must possess a strong can-do approach and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Requirements:

• At least five to seven years of experience in corporate finance and accounting
• Work experience in e-commerce, fintech, and other technology businesses is a plus
• CMA and/or CPA certifications is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly adapt to new software and tools
• Proactive and problem-solving attitude
• Analytical, data-driven mindset
• High interpersonal skills with problem-solving
• Superb English verbal and written communication skills
