Our client is seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial Audit Manager to join their team. This dynamic role focuses on the growth and quality of services, working closely with company management to scale operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and developing staff, preparing and reviewing audit engagements, and managing multiple client relationships.

What you'll do:

As an Audit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in scaling operations and ensuring the quality of services. You will be responsible for supervising, training, and mentoring seniors and staff, fostering an environment of learning and growth. Your excellent delegation skills will ensure that tasks are distributed effectively among your team. In addition to these responsibilities, you will also participate in business development activities for the firm.

  • Supervise, train, and mentor seniors and staff effectively
  • Plan, execute, and report on audit, review, and compilation engagements
  • Develop areas of technical expertise to become a resource within the firm
  • Manage multiple client relationships, engagements, and special projects
  • Present audit results to clients and answer questions about GAAP or GAAS financial reporting matters
  • Engage clients in discussions about the strategic and operational effectiveness of their organisation
  • Delegate tasks effectively to all levels of the assurance team staff
  • Participate in business development activities for the firm
  • Coordinate with Tax Department to deliver tax services to assurance clients
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients from the US

What you bring:

The ideal Audit Manager brings excellent leadership skills to the table along with a knack for mentoring. You have strong interpersonal communication skills which you use effectively when dealing with clients or your team. Your sound judgement and commitment to maintaining confidentiality are crucial in this role.

  • Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Sound judgement with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Proficiency with technology: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or other write-up software is a plus
  • Experience with CCH Axcess (full suite) and Engagement is desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
