Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their team in Taguig City. This role is perfect for a finance professional with a strong background in financial planning and analysis.

The Finance Specialist will be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and providing insightful analysis on financial and operational performance. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health of a dynamic organisation.

  • Key member of the site leadership team
  • Lead role in Business Partnering across all site functions
  • Responsible for managing the site's financial reporting and controls environment

What you'll do:

As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business performance by managing the site planning, forecasting, and reporting processes. You will provide effective reporting, analysis, and performance management of the site’s financial results. Your responsibilities will also include interfacing with operational groups to provide insightful analysis on site financial and operational performance. You will infuse cost consciousness into operations, support resource allocation decisions to optimise spending, and maximise returns. Furthermore, you will lead the financial annual plan and quarterly forecast process for the site.

  • Provide financial leadership to the site leadership team
  • Drive actions to maximise business opportunities and mitigate issues
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of financial performance
  • Discuss financial metrics result and measure progress on commitments
  • Advise site leadership team on issues, trends and opportunities
  • Implement and maintain an effective internal control environment
  • Ensure complete and accurate financial reporting
  • Review capital expenditure requests and ensure proper financial evaluation
  • Lead financial annual plan and quarterly forecast process for the site

What you bring:

The ideal FP&A Analyst will bring a wealth of experience in accounting/finance/costing function. She should hold a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, CPA, CMA, or MBA. Her skill set should include superior analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, strong team working capabilities, and a detail-oriented mindset. She should have a deep understanding of US GAAP reporting requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge. Experience in using ERP systems, particularly BPC and/or SAP (FICO, BW), is highly desirable. Advanced MS Excel and Powerpoint skills are also required.

  • Holder of Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, CPA, CMA, or MBA
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting/finance/costing function
  • Relevant experience in production environment and/or costing is required
  • Strong team working and relationship building skills
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong orientation for details
  • Knowledge of US GAAP reporting requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge is required
  • Experience in using ERP systems is required, BPC and/or SAP (FICO, BW) is a plus
  • Advanced MS Excel and Powerpoint skills; Financial Modeling experience
