They are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join their team. What you'll do:
As an Accounts Receivable Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the accounts receivable functions. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment. Your keen attention to detail will be crucial in monitoring accounts receivable reports and implementing effective collection strategies. You will also be responsible for conducting regular reconciliations of the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately accounted for. Additionally, you will manage the application of customer payments to outstanding invoices promptly. Your role will also involve preparing and analyzing various financial reports, providing regular updates on receivables status to management.
* Lead and supervise a team of Accounts Receivable staff, providing guidance, training, and support
* Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and implement collection strategies
* Communicate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and negotiate payment plans
* Conduct regular reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy
* Manage the accurate and timely application of customer payments to outstanding invoices
* Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, collection reports, and other financial reports
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivable Supervisor position brings significant experience in accounts receivable management or a similar financial role. You have demonstrated strong leadership abilities in previous roles, with experience guiding teams through change and process improvements. Your solid understanding of accounting principles will be essential in this role. Excellent interpersonal skills are required as you'll frequently communicate with internal stakeholders and customers. A keen eye for detail is necessary for analyzing data and financial reports. Lastly, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is required.
