Our client is looking for US Accounting Manager to join their team remotely. This dynamic role focuses on the growth and quality of services, working closely with company management to scale operations. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about the opportunity to scale an accounting firm and will place a high emphasis on mentoring and developing staff. The role requires familiarity with QuickBooks, and full working knowledge of US payroll and reporting.
What you'll do:
As a US Accounting Manager, your role will be multifaceted. You'll supervise, train, and mentor seniors and staff while managing multiple client relationships, engagements, and special projects. Your ability to engage clients in discussions about strategic and operational effectiveness will be crucial. You'll also prepare monthly client billings for the engagements you lead while coordinating the delivery of Client Accounting Services (CAS) to the US tax team.
- Supervise, train, and mentor seniors and staff
- Manage multiple client relationships, engagements, and special projects
- Engage clients in discussions about strategic and operational effectiveness
- Perform engagements on budget and on time
- Prepare monthly client billings for led engagements
- Coordinate delivery of CAS services to the US tax team
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients from the US
- Supervise workflow and assignments for staff to ensure maximum productivity
- Provide quality assurance checks on work assignments, deliver feedback to staff, and provide subsequent education or training as necessary
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the US Accounting Manager position brings excellent leadership skills coupled with strong interpersonal communication abilities. Proficiency in technology including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook along with QuickBooks desktop & online is essential. Familiarity with Bill.com & ADP will be an added advantage. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities simultaneously will be key to your success in this role.
