Our client is looking for a full-time US CAS Accountant. This remote role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals, honing your skills in areas such as payroll processing, accounts payable, and QuickBooks. What you'll do:
As a US Senior Accountant, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve recording deposit and disbursement transactions, reconciling bank statements, and managing client accounts payable. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills in payroll processing using ADP software and become proficient in QuickBooks. Your analytical abilities will be put to good use as you'll be tasked with identifying and resolving account errors swiftly. Additionally, you'll be responsible for organizing workpapers, client data, and files, as well as producing monthly financial statements.
- Record deposit and disbursement transactions for clients
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Develop skills with payroll processing using ADP software
- Manage client accounts payable in BILL (formerly bill.com)
- Efficiently record transactions in desktop and online versions of QuickBooks
- Analyze accounts to quickly identify errors and resolve them
- Organize and maintain accounting services workpapers, client data and files
- Produce a monthly set of standardized financial statements for review by the project manager

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred
- CPA certification is a plus
- 3+ years of Full-Charge Bookkeeping experience
- Experience in processing payroll and payroll tax reporting
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and project management skills
- Strong computer and technical skills including Quickbooks, ADP Payroll, Microsoft Office Suite
