Finance Manager

As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing the monthly closing process, managing cash flow, handling finance-related issues from various departments, reviewing tax calculations and filings, and ensuring document compliance for store operations. You will also be responsible for conducting quarterly inventory checks and managing year-end audits.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the organisation.

* Take charge of the monthly closing process to ensure timely submission of financial reports
* Monitor and manage cash flow effectively
* Handle daily finance related issues from different departments
* Review VAT/WHT calculations and filings regularly
* Oversee CIT filing and other statutory filings
* Ensure document compliance for opening/closing stores
* Conduct quarterly inventory checks at store
* Manage year-end audit and communicate with auditors

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position will bring a wealth of experience in accounting and bookkeeping roles.
* Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
* Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting and bookkeeping roles with a track record of process improvement and leadership is required
* Expertise in Tax filings, Tax computation, and related tax processes or documentations is essential
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations is necessary
* Fluency in English along with good attention to detail is needed
* Retail experience is preferred but not mandatory
