Accounting Officer

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join their team in Pasig City. As an Accounting Officer, you bring strong background in end-to-end finance, accounting, and tax-related functions. This position provides an excellent opportunity to grow in a generalist role with an international company.

What you'll do:

As an Accounting Officer, your role will be multifaceted across accounting and finance operations, cash management, payroll, and compliance while identifying and proposing projects to increase process efficiency.

• Preparation of month end closing set, including consolidation entries, reporting package for HQ consolidation
• Input of accounting entries, AR, AP to Accounting Software
• Prepare bank reconciliation, manage bank deposit and loans
• Prepare budget reporting, forecast & variance analysis
• Preparation of corporate income tax and attending to inquiry by tax agent and tax authorities
• Process payroll, staff claim, rental and other disbursements
• Preparation of audit schedules and attending to accounting audit/inquiry by audit firm
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and propose innovative solutions for efficient and profitable department operations

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Accounting Officer position brings a wealth of skills to the table.

• CPA/CA with a degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting
• Familiarity with Philippines Tax Law
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work accurately and under pressure
