Our client is seeking a seasoned Finance and Accounting Manager to join their team in Pasig City. With a minimum of 8 years' experience in the field, your expertise will be instrumental in managing and overseeing daily operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements. What you'll do:
As a Finance & Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of the accounting department. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and analyzing accounting data to produce accurate financial reports, preparing annual profit plans, enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. You will also identify opportunities for process improvement, manage cash flow effectively, coordinate annual audits, and ensure timely tax compliance. Additionally, you will review and update the IPBR related to finance and accounting.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce monthly financial reports for the company and headquarters
- Prepare annual profit planning and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all relevant direct and indirect tax returns
- Manage the company’s cash flow effectively
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Review and update the IPBR related to finance and accounting
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance & Accounting Manager position brings a wealth of experience from the finance sector. You are a CPA/CA with a degree in Accounting or equivalent. Your strong leadership skills have been honed over at least three years in a managerial role. You are familiar with Philippines Tax Law and proficient in English. Your ability to work accurately under pressure will be key to your success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also required.
