Treasury Manager (Operations)

What you'll do:
As Treasury Manager, you will be entrusted with guiding a dedicated team through the complexities of global treasury operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will centre around supervising cash positioning activities, managing intercompany funding requests, administering bank guarantees, and driving process improvements. Your ability to communicate effectively with multiple parties will be essential as you review detailed reports and participate in audits.
- Supervise and mentor a team of seven treasury professionals, providing guidance, support, and ongoing development to ensure both individual and collective success.
- Oversee the preparation of daily cash positions and monitor cash forecasts to maintain adequate liquidity for all operating units.
- Review intercompany loan facility requirements and associated agreements, ensuring accurate submission of funding requests for approval by Group Treasury.
- Manage the issuance, amendment, cancellation, and migration of bank guarantees within the portfolio.
- Ensure robust risk management practices are followed by maintaining up-to-date banking compliance, regulations, and internal controls.
- Enhance and streamline treasury processes and procedures to drive greater efficiency and accuracy across all operations.
- Support senior management on various treasury projects, taking the lead on initiatives when appropriate to deliver successful outcomes.
- Review and present comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic treasury reports to stakeholders across the business.
- Optimize the use of treasury management systems for transaction processing and reporting, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Participate actively in audits by preparing timely documentation and reporting all relevant treasury activities accurately.
What you bring:
To excel as Treasury Manager, your background should reflect substantial experience in global treasury operations alongside formal qualifications in finance or accounting. Your history of successfully managing teams highlights your capacity for nurturing talent through supportive leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or a related field is required for this position.
- At least three to five years’ experience in global treasury operations demonstrates your proven track record in complex financial environments.
- Minimum two years’ experience managing teams showcases your ability to mentor others within a collaborative setting.
- Knowledge of international financial services industry equips you with insights into cross-border transactions and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience working within BPO or Shared Service Centre environments is considered advantageous for understanding large-scale operational models.
- Exceptional analytical skills enable you to interpret financial data accurately while identifying areas for improvement.
- High level of attention to detail ensures precision in all aspects of cash positioning, reporting, and compliance activities.
