CAS Manager (Remote - Night Shift)
A leading professional services firm is seeking an experienced CAS Manager to join their remote team, supporting U.S. operations from the Philippines. This full-time position offers you the chance to work closely with a collaborative group of professionals, where your expertise in accounting and client advisory services will be highly valued.
What you'll do:
As a CAS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a talented team of professionals through complex client engagements while fostering an environment of shared success. Your day-to-day activities will involve mentoring staff members, developing technical expertise within the department, managing multiple client relationships simultaneously, and ensuring that all projects are delivered efficiently.
- Supervise, train, and mentor senior accountants and staff members to ensure high-quality performance across all engagements.
- Manage multiple client relationships, overseeing engagements and special projects while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly client billings for assigned engagements, monitor realisation rates, and provide clear explanations for any variances identified.
- Coordinate closely with the Tax Department to align service delivery with U.S. tax requirements and ensure seamless collaboration between teams.
- Communicate clearly with both local team members and U.S.-based clients, participating in weekly meetings to review assignments, feedback, and issues.
- Provide quality assurance checks on deliverables, offer constructive feedback to staff, conduct training sessions as needed, and evaluate forecasts against capacity for optimal scheduling.
What you bring:
To excel as a CAS Manager in this organisation, your background should include substantial hands-on experience managing complex accounting functions within either industry or public practice environments.
- At least five years of experience in industry controllership or public firm/BPO settings focused on Client Advisory Services is preferred for this role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in U.S. GAAP reporting over a minimum of five years is highly desirable for success in this position.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is essential for managing daily accounting operations efficiently. Familiarity with platforms such as Xero, Ramp, Bill.com, Karbon, or Gusto would be considered advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for effective communication within the team as well as with clients based in the United States.
- The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
