About the Financial Controller - Shared Services (US GAAP) Role:
Reporting to the VP of Finance in the US, this role oversees the enterprise-wide, multi-entity accounting function, working closely with international partners to ensure timely and accurate financial closes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive all areas of financial accounting, governance, statutory and fiduciary compliance across the business’s financial entities
• Manage all financial aspects of accounting operations and controllership functions including financial audits, internal financial reports, tax planning and reporting, commercial agreements
• Assess risks and create a strong internal controls environment to manage the risks associated with running the operations
• Implement financial process and policy where relevant to ensure the company is reporting all financial and other information accurately and on a timely basis
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions
• Identify and implement areas for improvement and optimisation across the company’s accounting operations, policies, and procedures
• Provide necessary guidance, training, and consistent leadership to the team and overall business

To succeed in this Financial Controller - Shared Services (US GAAP) role, you must have progressive experience in finance and accounting, strong attention to detail, and open to rolling up your sleeves.

Key Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in finance and accounting operations within the shared services industry
• Must be a CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
• Strong knowledge in US GAAP
• Must work on a night shift
• Hands-on profile, independent and autonomous
• Ability to respond well in a dynamic business environment
• Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills are necessary
