About the Commercial Finance Manager Role:
The Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for both controlling and commercial finance, playing a crucial role in driving the financial success and growth of the organisation, collaborating with various departments, providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and optimising financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage the financial planning and budgeting process
• Prepare accurate financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identify trends, and recommend cost optimisation strategies
• Provide guidance and support to department heads in creating and managing their budgets
• Financial Reporting and Controls:Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and presentations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal regulations, and company policies
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard com pany assets and minimise risk
• Monitor financial performance, identify deviations, and provide recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to analyse pricing, profitability, and sales performance
• Evaluate the financial impact of new product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns
• Conduct ROI analysis for capital investment projects and provide financial justification
• Support the development and implementation of sales forecasting and demand planning processes
• Manage day-to-day finance operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
• Oversee cash flow management, ensuring optimal working capital utilisation
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory control
• Implement and maintain effective financial systems and Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including the timely and accurate submission of tax returns
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to the organisation
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for annual audits and tax filings
• Maintain proper documentation and records for tax and regulatory purposes
• Lead and mentor the GBS team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work

To succeed in this Commercial Finance Manager role, you must possess a strong can-do approach and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related A Master's degree is a plus
• Proven experience (at least five years) as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial management role within the FMCG industry
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and sound understanding of accounting principles and practices, including local tax regulations
• Experience with tax compliance, including the timely submission of tax
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving
• Excellent communication and interpersonal
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic
• Strong leadership and team management
