Senior Finance Manager - Shared Services
Our client is seeking a Finance Operations Manager with experience in the hospitality industry to join their newly established Global Business Services Centre. This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of businesses and interaction with the senior management team of a large conglomerate. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing operational capability for selected internal clients, leading GBS-related initiatives from ideation to service delivery.
What you'll do:
As a Finance Operations Manager, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future direction of our client's Global Business Services Centre. Your ability to manage costs effectively while ensuring high-quality service delivery will be crucial. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a large conglomerate.
- Develop and maintain a long-term strategic roadmap for GBS
- Drive and monitor Finance operations including Record to Report (RTR), Order to Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (PTP), Income Audit, Treasury and taxation
- Identify, implement and integrate analytics, automation and other digital capabilities into existing operations
- Lead transformation and continuous improvement across GBS operations and processes
- Serve as the key interface between the GBS team and senior management team of business units served
- Manage and optimize the overall GBS cost of operations
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Operations Manager role brings extensive experience in business process outsourcing or captive shared services leadership within the hospitality finance sector. You have proven success in setting up finance service centers, managing large teams, and delivering high-quality services.
- Over 5 years of business process outsourcing / captive shared services leadership experience focusing on hospitality finance areas
- Experience setting up a finance service center and managing large teams
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality services to customers
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deliverables
- Change Leadership skills, with evidence of transforming a business unit
- Relevant Finance qualifications and expert with IFRS standards, ACCA preferred
