What you'll do:

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing the full spectrum of financial operations within the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless account maintenance, timely completion of reports, and effective management of budgets.

• Ensure meticulous maintenance of accounts, bookkeeping processes, management information system (MIS) reporting, statutory compliance requirements, and branch control activities across the organisation.
• Plan, organise, and execute a wide range of financial tasks and projects that align with both short-term needs and long-term strategic goals.
• Prepare detailed estimates of funds required for various organisational objectives by analysing current trends and forecasting future requirements.
• Complete comprehensive financial reports on a regular basis, lead the month-end closing process with precision, and conduct monthly financial forecasts to inform decision-making.
• Develop robust plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting that support operational efficiency and transparency throughout the business.
• Prepare and manage MIS reports with accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted promptly to Head Office as required.
• Strategize on fund procurement by liaising with banks and other financial institutions to secure optimal financing solutions for organisational initiatives.
• Provide insightful financial analysis that drives business performance by identifying areas for improvement and supporting informed decision-making at all levels.
• Manage and monitor key metrics through diligent KPI tracking and reporting to ensure alignment with organisational targets.
• Understand, assess, and calculate risks associated with all financial activities while maintaining strict adherence to established processes and timelines.

What you bring:

To excel as a Senior Finance Manager in this organisation, your background should reflect not only technical competence but also an ability to nurture collaborative relationships across departments.

• Hold a degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Demonstrate at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles with a proven track record of success in similar environments.
• Have spent at least 5 years working in a leadership capacity.
• Exhibit advanced analytical thinking abilities coupled with strong conceptual problem-solving skills
• Display meticulous attention to detail along with superb organisational skills that ensure accuracy across all aspects of your work.
• Show resilience under pressure by consistently meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality or thoroughness.
• Work well independently as well as part of a team by fostering positive relationships built on mutual respect and open communication.
• Demonstrate solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications as well as SAP or other recognised financial planning software tools used within the industry.
