In addition to overseeing audit processes and maintaining robust internal controls, you will coordinate cross-border reporting activities with international colleagues. What you'll do:

As an Assistant Finance Manager based in Muntinlupa, you will be entrusted with driving the financial planning process for the Philippines operations while collaborating closely with global teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing detailed reports for management review, monitoring cash flow performance, optimising investments, and supporting operational efficiency initiatives.

  • Develop comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans by analysing market trends and company performance to identify opportunities for growth and areas of risk.
  • Monitor cash flow closely, optimise investments, implement strategies to improve profitability, and support initiatives that drive operational efficiency throughout the organisation.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to senior leadership teams for strategic decision-making purposes, supporting business growth objectives and investment planning activities.
  • Oversee internal and external audits by implementing robust internal controls and managing risk mitigation initiatives that safeguard company assets.
  • Coordinate effectively with global finance teams on cross-border reporting requirements, consolidation processes, and participation in strategic finance projects.
  • Manage month-end closing procedures including financial reporting and variance analysis to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information provided to stakeholders.
  • Ensure full compliance with tax regulations and corporate policies by implementing strong internal control frameworks that meet both local and international standards.

What you bring:

To excel as an Assistant Finance Manager in this organisation, your proven track record in finance roles will be complemented by strong interpersonal skills that foster effective collaboration within diverse teams.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory for this position as it demonstrates your technical proficiency in accounting principles.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance roles is required so you can bring proven expertise in managing complex financial operations.
  • At least 3 years’ background in audit—preferably gained at a Big 4 or medium-sized audit firm—will enable you to oversee rigorous audit processes effectively.
  • Exposure to commercial finance activities is desirable; solid or extensive experience is not required but would be considered an advantage.
  • Experience working within a multinational company (MNC) environment is highly valued as it prepares you for collaboration with global teams.
  • Candidates from any industry are welcome; manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to manage Philippine finance operations independently while engaging collaboratively with global finance teams is crucial for this position.
