Global RTR Operations Head

A leading global organisation is seeking a Global Record to Report (RTR) Operations Head to spearhead the transformation and scaling of its accounting operations from Makati. This strategic role offers you the opportunity to shape and lead a centralised service delivery model, driving best practices and process consistency across regions. What you'll do:

As Global RTR Operations Head, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the future of accounting operations for this multinational business. Your day-to-day responsibilities will centre around building an empowered team dedicated to delivering exceptional service quality across multiple regions.

  • Lead the transition towards a centralised service delivery model as part of the Global Business Services framework, adapting solutions to local contexts where necessary.
  • Oversee general ledger activities including journal posting, intercompany transactions, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset management, and period end close processes.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations, payment processing, and ensure consistent management reporting is delivered promptly.
  • Deliver timely and accurate accounting services to regional finance teams while acting as the key point of contact for regional finance heads to ensure service quality.
  • Resolve reporting issues collaboratively with regional teams while managing property transactions and lease accounting in line with IFRS standards.
  • Coordinate external and internal audit preparation; act as liaison with auditors to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Support ESG initiatives and insurance data input requirements alongside tax compliance activities such as filings and audits for corporation tax, payroll tax, and withholding tax.
  • Drive standardisation of global accounting operations processes by leading process reviews, identifying automation opportunities, and collaborating with technology teams.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of accountants, nurturing their growth through coaching, development programs, and succession planning.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on service delivery, accuracy, responsiveness, and continuous improvement by modelling authentic leadership skills.

What you bring:

To excel as Global RTR Operations Head, you will bring extensive experience leading large-scale accounting operations within multinational organisations.

  • Fully qualified accountant (CPA, ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), with technical expertise in accounting operations within global or shared services environments.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience managing large teams across multiple regions with proven success in delivering high-quality services under complex matrix structures.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems and reporting tools; experience with D365 and Workday is an advantage
  • Strong track record of driving automation initiatives and standardizing processes for enhanced operational efficiency within accounting functions
  • Deep understanding of tax compliance requirements including statutory reporting obligations for corporation tax, payroll tax, withholding tax as well as audit preparation protocols.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional projects involving technology teams while aligning global priorities with regional flexibility through effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven capability in coaching team members for professional development while fostering inclusion and empowerment within high-performing teams.
  • Commitment to governance principles with attention to detail regarding risk awareness and adherence to internal controls.
  • Experience supporting ESG initiatives or insurance data input requirements would be advantageous.
