FP&A Lead

An exciting FP&A Lead job has become available at an FMCG company based in Makati for someone with business partnering experience.

About the FP&A Lead Role:
The FP&A Lead will be responsible for monitoring business performance against budget, in particular detailed analysis of the cost of goods sold and gross margin and other operating expenses, customer growth profitability focusing on the SEA market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely and accurate financial information/monthly reporting and analysis to management
• Perform month-end activities i.e. accruals, operating expense
• Support the respective business leaders on delivering the Annual Operating Plan and drive a sustainable business financially longer term
• Support the annual budget process from data collection to review and analysis, as well as facilitating monthly forecasting and strategic planning processes
• Work closely with the Business Partners to provide analytical support in commercial assessment
• Provide deep dives on product cost analysis
• Calculate sales incentives
• Produce routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages, and pro forma analyses
• Identify and optimise process enhancements for FP&A activities

To succeed in this FP&A Lead role, must possess a strong can-do approach and the ability to work autonomously with strong business partnering experience.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance and business administration
• Work experience in a multinational company environment, with the ability to operate in a matrix environment and across diverse cultures
• Fluent in English
• Strong affinity with IT systems such as MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP
• Self-motivated with an inquisitive mind who seeks to continuously improve existing processes
• Strong analytical skills with financial and balance sheet management experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the proven ability to handle multiple outputs simultaneously
• Self-motivated with an inquisitive mind who seeks to continuously improve existing processes
• Hands-on with a great eye for detail
