About the FP&A Lead for APACRole: The FP&A Lead for APAC is responsible for managing and executing the performance management agenda through development of a robust annual plan, reinforced by a monthly rhythm of analysis to deliver timely information and insight to enable the organisation to make high quality decisions which drive peer group leading performance. The role also includes full responsibility to account for, track and manage the region’s advertisement and promotions budget, through close interaction with the marketing and commercial teams. Leads a team of 30 or more FP&A professionals for different markets within the APAC region through people managers. An integral part of this role will be managing regular functional and operational engagement with the Regional Finance Director and other cross-functional departments and leaders of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Acumen: understand the whole business operation in detail and is able to see connections across departments to see the big picture. Aware of competitors for existing core business and recognises key trends and industry characteristics
Robust functional knowledge about FP&A processes to suggest fundamental and dynamic ways of interpreting the data
Working knowledge of advertisement and promotion accounting and analysis of effective spend and tracking of the allocated budget
Strong collaboration with different departments to create value adding insights
Support decision making - ability to understand the levers to drive efficient growth and make the right business decision based on data, analysis and the wider business context
Coach and guide FP&A team to achieve business results and build capabilities
Systems tools and technologies - implement world class tools and the latest technologies to execute processes and analyse data
Finance processes - understand and execute relevant finance processes and drive simplification/automation agenda
To succeed in this FP&A Lead for APAC role, must possess a strong can-do approach and the ability to work autonomously.
Key Requirements:
CA/CMA/MBA (tier 2 schools), bachelor’s degree in finance/marketing/business is required
At least 18 - 20 years of work experience within management reporting, business controlling, FP&A area at a multinational environment
Experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
Proven ability to impact and influence, at a senior stakeholder level, virtually across markets with solid networking, influencing and communication skills
