About the Head of Balance Sheet Management Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing business partnership and collaboration to optimise the balance sheet utilisation and RoTE uplift initiatives while operating within risk appetite and regulatory constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures effective transfer of liquidity valuation and interest rate risks between the business and treasury markets via funds transfer pricing methodology and related enablers (IP/subsidy)
• Drives policy review and implementation of group policies and standards, establishment of controls and framework, improve governance and operating processes
• Tracks, supports, highlights any risks/opportunities and provides effective reviews and challenges to business on treasury risk drivers (capital/leverage/funding and liquidity/IRRBB)
• Manages relationships with external auditors including the negotiation of the scope of the audit, general liaison, the clearance of audit work and responding to and following up on management letters
• Ensures the effective application of risk identification, measurement and modelling capabilities which are objective, consistent and compliant with group standards and local regulations

To be successful in this Head of Balance Sheet Management role, you must have a strong balance sheet management background and experience in handling risk management and regulatory reporting.

Key Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in a senior financial management and administration position of a bank or a large commercial organisation
• Good knowledge of balance sheet management and liquidity, market, operational risk management concepts
