What you'll do:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play an instrumental role in guiding the financial direction of the business. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, supporting transformation initiatives that align with organisational goals, and delivering actionable insights that drive commercial performance.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality client relationships across the business unit, acting as a trusted partner for contract managers, project managers, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as People, Controllership, FP&A, and BSO to fulfil information requests and align on key deliverables.
  • Oversee contract governance by ensuring all cost elements are accurately accounted for and demonstrating deep understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
  • Participate in monthly reviews of contracts, projects, and business units, preparing comprehensive reports including profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, forecasts, and detailed profitability analyses.
  • Leverage PowerBI and other reporting tools to deliver best-in-class management information to both internal leadership and clients.
  • Continuously review cash flow, margins, and reporting processes to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency initiatives that maximise savings for both the client and the organisation.
  • Lead the preparation of annual business plans, monitor forecasting throughout the year, and challenge performance trends by identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX controls, US GAAP accounting standards, and statutory obligations through rigorous adherence to procedures.
  • Recruit, develop, motivate, and manage a diverse contract support team by conducting structured appraisals and fostering an inclusive environment focused on personal growth.
  • Communicate regularly with finance staff to keep them informed of operational objectives while building high-level relationships with customers, account leaders, auditors, and external agencies.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Finance Business Partner role brings significant exposure to service industries where you have successfully delivered results through collaborative efforts.

  • CPA, Chartered Accountant qualification, or equivalent
  • Possess hands-on experience managing teams within complex multinational environments while delivering results through others in service industry settings.
  • Exhibit proven commercial acumen with the ability to contribute meaningfully to strategic decision-making processes across multiple service lines.
  • Demonstrate advanced computer literacy with proficiency in Excel, Word, presentation software packages, ERP systems, and PowerBI for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Showcase superior written and verbal communication skills complemented by strong oral presentation abilities suitable for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Show aptitude for shaping outcomes by influencing senior managers through clear communication of ideas supported by sound analytical reasoning.
  • Be willing to travel as required by the needs of the business unit.
