What you'll do:

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager based in Makati, you will be responsible for orchestrating all aspects of financial planning—from developing budgets to preparing detailed management reports. You will be in close collaboration with various departments to align financial strategies with operational needs and analyze complex data sets to uncover trends that inform business decisions while supporting project development through insightful reporting.

• Develop comprehensive annual budgets and manage rolling forecasts by collaborating with department heads to ensure financial targets are integrated with operational plans.
• Monitor actual versus budgeted results on a monthly basis, providing detailed observations and recommendations to management for improved performance.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization while delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Work alongside accounting, tax, and operations teams to understand country performance and key drivers through thorough financial and operational analysis.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executives and stakeholders, including spend-to-date reports, construction reports, and external reports required by joint venture partners.
• Support long-term strategic planning by modelling scenarios and evaluating business cases in partnership with leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance by managing up-to-date reports for regulatory bodies such as DOE and BOI as well as overseeing internal audit processes.
• Assist in the rollout of new software solutions aimed at simplifying month-end processes while adhering to group FP&A initiatives.
• Collaborate with other finance pillars to accomplish audits on time and perform other related duties as required.

What you bring:

To excel as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager in Makati, you will bring proven experience gained from at least eight years working within finance or accounting environments.

• You must hold Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials with at least eight years of progressive experience in finance, accounting or financial planning roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and compliance matters is essential for this position.
• Strong leadership skills are required along with excellent communication abilities for effective stakeholder management across teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for advanced financial modelling as well as familiarity with ERP/accounting systems is necessary.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory compliance requirements is expected from the ideal candidate.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration across multiple functions is crucial.
• Preferably with experience in driving process improvements within finance teams or implementing automation solutions in reporting workflows would be highly valued.
• Prior involvement in supporting strategic decision-making through scenario modelling or business case evaluation is advantageous.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements specific to DOE or BOI would be beneficial but not required.
• Experience assisting in software rollouts or system upgrades within finance environments adds further value.
