FP&A Analyst - CPA

What you'll do:

As a FP&A Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance department’s daily operations. You will collaborate closely with both internal teams and external partners to resolve outstanding reconciliation items related to sales and accounts receivable. Your day-to-day work will be integral in maintaining accurate financial records, optimizing cash flow processes, and ensuring compliance with global standards.

• Support forecasting and planning activities for the Direct to Consumer channel while consolidating country reports for legal reporting purposes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in the month-end closing process by posting closing entries and accruals, performing key balance sheet account reconciliations, and submitting monthly financial reports with clear variance analysis and commentaries.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve open items such as pending KRs, open KEs, refunds, and incorrect fees related to sales and accounts receivable reconciliations for retail and e-commerce channels.
• Ensure accurate posting of journals and accruals across all relevant accounts, maintaining high standards of precision in financial documentation.
• Monitor sales, billing, and collection processes for consignment doors, proactively addressing any discrepancies or delays to optimize cash flow.
• Support other ad hoc analyses and reporting requirements from local management as well as Southeast Asia (SEA) and global teams, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
• Deliver timely submission of month-end closing reports to global headquarters, meeting strict deadlines without compromising quality.
• Submit accurate forecasts with no hard validation issues, demonstrating attention to detail in every aspect of financial planning.
• Maintain clean sales and accounts receivable reconciliations by eliminating aged or long-outstanding reconciling items.
• Track Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) for consignment doors, providing actionable insights to improve performance.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the FP&A Analyst position brings proven experience from accounting roles within retail or e-commerce environments or from reputable audit firms. Your educational credentials demonstrate your commitment to professional excellence. You must possess strong technical skills in Excel and SAP that allow you to handle large volumes of data efficiently while integrating seamlessly into established workflows. Your fluency in English ensures clear communication across diverse teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting coupled with CPA certification is required for this role; your academic background ensures you have the foundational knowledge needed for success.
• At least three years’ experience in accounting within retail or e-commerce sectors or at a Big 4 audit firm demonstrates your familiarity with industry-specific challenges.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel allows you to efficiently analyze data sets while intermediate SAP skills enable seamless integration into existing systems.
• Fluency in English—both written and spoken—is essential for effective communication across local, regional, and global teams.
