Our client is seeking a highly knowledgeable and dependable Tax Manager to join their team in Makati City. As the Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing compliance with tax laws and regulations, ensuring accurate and timely submission of tax returns. What you'll do:
As a Tax Manager, your role will be multifaceted. You'll also play a crucial role in acting as a business partner to key stakeholders to ensure compliance across the organization. You'll manage the overall tax audit & refund process, drive company-level tax projects, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives. Regular communication with key stakeholders will be essential to support strong decision-making.
- Review, approve & submit VAT and WHT returns.
- Ensure VAT and WHT compliance controls are maintained.
- Prepare annual corporate income calculation and tax return.
- Support FI with provision of tax data for statutory reporting.
- Manage overall tax audit & refund process.
- Drive tax projects and support business with company-level tax projects.
- Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) Initiatives.
- Provide regular communication and updates to key stakeholders.

- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant tax experience at a supervisory or manager level.
- Strong knowledge on Philippines tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax, local taxes).
- Organised with an eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and key stakeholders.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- Team player with ability to handle many tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent knowledge of Advanced MS Excel.
