About the AML Manager Role:
In this business critical position, you will carry out the anti-money laundering/combating the financing of terrorism functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep abreast of the latest regulatory requirements on AML and CFT and implement necessary controls
• Evaluate, review, and advise on policies and procedures of various business units
• Act as an advisor for all relevant AML laws as needed
• Conduct regulatory risk assessment and support the management in mitigating said risks
• Analyse results of the monitoring system and act on it
• Ensure an environment of compliance awareness bank-wide
• Act as the contact person for the AML Council (AMLC) and other relevant groups/regulators
• Manage the team that reviews suspicious transactions escalated by the team

To succeed in the AML Manager role, you must be a seasoned compliance manager within another reputable financial services organisation.

Key Requirements:

• 10 or more years of experience doing AML in a local bank or financial institution
• Proficiency and updated knowledge of AML regulations
• People-management experience of at least two years
• Excellent know-how of banking operations in a similar business
