AML Officer

About the AML Officer Role:
In this business critical position, you will carry out the anti-money laundering/combating the financing of terrorism functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transaction monitoring of alerts across all channels of the bank
• Review all alerts generated in the system and acted upon within the set turnaround time
• Examination of clients' accounts subject to AMLC Bank Inquiries/Freeze Order/Terrorist Financing Sanction
• Investigation of accounts included in the Suspicious Transaction Report submitted by the business units
• Preparation of Suspicious Transaction Reports and other files from BSP rulings/advisory
• Updating of the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Programme of the bank
• AML training to the employees of the bank

To succeed in this AML Officer role, you must have in-depth knowledge of AML compliance and the ability to work independently with little supervision.

Key Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the AML policies and regulations
• Skilled in conducting end-to-end investigations
• Minimum of three years' total experience in AML investigations
• Professional certifications (CAMS, CFE, ICA or equivalent) is an advantage
