AML Delivery Manager (Transaction Monitoring)

About the AML Delivery Manager (Transaction Monitoring) Role:
The AML Delivery Manager needs to have knowledge, skills and experience in operations management. The primary objective and goal of the role is to oversee and ensure a consistent high service performance delivery of the KYC services to the stakeholders through capacity planning and monitoring, data analytics, process refinement and evaluation of customer feedback to address issues and improve quality of processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an operational department. Account for the performance and results of the department which executes multiple operational processes for a functional area at a medium to complex level of complexity
• Ensure compliance with the rules and procedures that are prescribed by risk and compliance
• Be responsible for internal and external audits
• Manage and be responsible for the departmental budget
• Act as a coach and mentor for the team leads and is responsible for the development of the department
• Account for department plans, process and change management, business priorities, resource allocation and policy formation. Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives
• Provide services to locations in multiple time zones and resource planning must be flexible and/rotating
• Receive general guidance and oversight from their reporting line. Understand the mission and vision of the company and how the department contributes to that. Act in line with the bank’s rules and policies
• Apply extensive experience in managing people and has a moderate to extensive level of experience in managing managers

To succeed in this AML Delivery Manager (Financial Shared Services) role, you must have a strong background, knowledge and skills, in operations management, people management and migrations. Experience in AML and transaction monitoring is an advantage.

Key Requirements:

• A team player who is able to work in a dynamic and changing operational landscape with different stakeholders, most of them situated abroad
• Competent proficiency level of the processes and products and understands the complex process environment to ensure maximum efficiency
• Capability to act as POC in lieu of the Director
• High potential in operations management as the department head leading the migration, strategic reviews and planning. Experience migrating processes, strong operations and stakeholder management and great appreciation on risk and compliance. You must be keen to cover AML, transaction monitoring, build, maintain and push to the next level the group
• Agile work setup, fast paced, strategic and a strong decision maker and influencer
