About the Risk and Compliance Officer - Insurance Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s business operations are aligned to regulatory requirements by the Insurance Commission, Department of Health, Anti-Money Laundering Council, National Privacy Commission and any other government agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and processes of the company align with regulatory requirement to a standard that not only avoids breaches but gains the respect of key stakeholders
• Represent the company in the industry association whose Compliance Officers regularly meet and discuss regulations in development, as well as implementation and execution approaches
• Assess and approve the Risk and Compliance Assessment Templates for technology deployment, process changes, and new business implementation
• Implement controls which aim to uplift the accuracy, reliability and efficiency of regulatory compliance controls

To succeed in the Risk and Compliance Officer - Insurance role, you must be a compliance professional in another reputable financial services organisation.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of five years' experience in insurance or other financial institutions compliance function
• Graduate of BS Accounting or Law
• Certifications/licenses – Preference for Association of Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialists (International) and National Privacy Council (Local)
• Familiarity with AML screening tools
• Strong data management skills
