Key Responsibilities:

• Keep abreast of the latest regulatory requirements on AML and CFT and implement necessary controls for the branch operations
• Evaluate, review, and advise on policies and procedures of various banking units
• Act as an adviser for all compliance rules and regulations for the bank
• Conduct regulatory risk assessment and support the management in mitigating said risks
• Analyse results of the monitoring system and act on it
• Ensure an environment of compliance awareness bank-wide

To succeed in the Chief Compliance Officer role, you must have a strong AML and regulatory compliance in another reputable bank or financial services organisation.

Key Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience handling compliance for a reputable local bank
• Proficient in updated knowledge of AML regulations
• Excellent know-how of local banking operations in a similar business
• Person with integrity, flexibility, and people skills
• Strong relationships with the local regulators
• Open to work 100% onsite
• Preferably a lawyer
