Use cutting-edge tools, analyze trends, and help strengthen corporate integrity. Perfect for compliance, audit, or risk professionals ready to elevate their career in a world-class, collaborative environment.

What you'll do:

As a Compliance Monitoring Officer based in BGC Taguig, you will immerse yourself in a highly collaborative environment where your analytical acumen will be essential in safeguarding organisational integrity. Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around executing comprehensive monitoring activities across multiple risk areas while utilising advanced compliance technologies. You will be instrumental in analysing data trends to inform strategic decisions and investigating any potential breaches with diligence. By working closely with both local colleagues and international teams, you will help foster a culture of transparency while supporting ongoing professional development through structured training programmes. Success in this position requires not only technical proficiency but also strong interpersonal skills as you engage with stakeholders at all levels to drive continuous improvement throughout the compliance function.

  • Drive the Compliance Risk Assessment process as the foundation for the Compliance Monitoring Plan to ensure robust governance and oversight within the second line of defence.
  • Lead and execute monitoring activities across all compliance risk areas—including Personal Account Dealing (PAD), Market Abuse, Marketing, Anti-Bribery and Corruption—ensuring strict adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
  • Oversee daily surveillance activities covering marketing initiatives, business communications, trading-related aspects, and manage centralised compliance approvals for timely oversight.
  • Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement; prepare clear and actionable reports for senior management to support informed decision-making.
  • Investigate compliance issues thoroughly by documenting findings, recommending corrective actions, and tracking remediation measures across various compliance domains.
  • Utilise and optimise leading compliance business applications such as Star Compliance, RedMarker, Resolver, and Global Relay to enhance monitoring processes through automation and reporting.
  • Lead or contribute significantly to compliance-related projects by ensuring timely delivery, effective stakeholder engagement, and smooth change management.
  • Collaborate closely with global colleagues and cross-functional teams to provide expert compliance guidance, deliver impactful training sessions, and support both local and global initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes by integrating new requirements into existing processes and controls promptly to maintain best-in-class standards.
  • Champion innovation in compliance testing by leveraging data analytics tools and driving continuous improvement of systems for greater efficiency.

What you bring:

To excel as a Compliance Monitoring Officer in this prestigious organisation’s Manila office, you will bring proven experience from similar roles within risk advisory or audit functions—ideally within financial services. Your educational background should reflect solid foundations in business disciplines complemented by relevant certifications that underscore your commitment to professional excellence. Beyond technical expertise in data analysis and regulatory frameworks, your interpersonal strengths will shine through when collaborating on cross-border projects or delivering training sessions. Your curiosity about new technologies ensures you remain ahead of industry trends while your methodical approach guarantees thoroughness in investigations. Ultimately, your ability to balance independent initiative with teamwork makes you an invaluable asset who contributes meaningfully towards maintaining high standards of ethical conduct.

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required; preference given to those with backgrounds in business, finance or auditing for deeper contextual understanding.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is preferred; additional certifications such as CIA, CISA or CRISC are considered advantageous for demonstrating specialised knowledge.
  • At least three to five years’ experience in risk advisory services, internal audit functions, IT audit or compliance roles is essential for effective performance.
  • Previous exposure to financial services environments is highly desirable due to sector-specific regulatory nuances.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities paired with strong problem-solving skills enable you to interpret complex data sets accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for preparing detailed reports and engaging constructively with senior management as well as cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications combined with an active interest in Generative AI or emerging technologies supports efficient workflow management.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities—whether leading or contributing—are vital for delivering successful outcomes on compliance-related initiatives.
  • Familiarity with key compliance business applications such as Star Compliance, Global Relay or RedMarker enhances your ability to streamline monitoring processes effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset coupled with adaptability allows you to thrive independently within a fast-evolving global setting.
