What you'll do:

As a Privacy Compliance Officer based in Makati, you will play a central part in protecting sensitive information by designing effective frameworks that uphold the highest standards of confidentiality. • Conduct detailed gap analyses of new or amended data privacy regulations, advisories, and related requirements to identify compliance gaps and improvement opportunities.

• Coordinate all regulatory communications related to data privacy, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of critical updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Develop, review, and maintain key risk indicators (KRIs) for data privacy compliance to support continuous monitoring and reporting.

• Identify emerging risks and priorities by monitoring legal, regulatory, environmental, and business developments affecting data privacy initiatives.

• Lead annual reviews of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) to evaluate control effectiveness and regulatory compliance.

• Promptly report high operational risk incidents related to data privacy and escalate breaches for further investigation and resolution.

• Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support to business units and senior management on data privacy issues and regulatory concerns.

• Regularly review and update privacy policies, standards, and procedures to ensure ongoing alignment with evolving regulatory and organisational requirements.
