About the Business Development Executive Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the growth and development of the business portfolio of your assigned area
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve the department’s financial targets and contribute to the overall business profitability
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities from branch referrals, develop, and maintain a database of potential partners
- Monitor client portfolios and safeguard the Bank’s interest and minimise operations and credit risk
- Prepare packages to maximise profitability and promote further business relationships
- Ensure excellent customer service through regular client follow-up
- Cross-sell other bank products
To succeed in this Business Development Executive job, you must have strong business development and account management skills.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with at least three years of relevant experience within the banking and financial services field
- Strong customer orientation with an inclination towards business development and sales
- Ability to work with considerable autonomy and be a team player
- Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong motivation and personal drive to succeed
- Amenable to travel frequently and conduct field work
- Knowledge and experience in selling different bank products
