About the Area Sales Head Role: The Area Sales Head will lead and manage sales efforts in a specific area or region. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and building strong relationships with clients. Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve area-specific sales targets
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the area
Monitor market trends, competition, and unique client behaviour specific to the area
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to the sales team
Prepare and present sales reports, area performance to senior management
Guide the sales team in generating new business to increase deposit volume
Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative culture
Develop excellent relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing effective solutions
Ensure daily sales activities are executed properly and monitored accordingly
The ideal Area Sales Head brings a wealth of experience from the banking industry with at least five years' experience under their belt, has a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and has previously held roles such as a Branch Manager or similar leadership positions. Ability to develop effective sales strategies coupled with excellent relationship-building skills makes a strong contender for this role. Also adept at conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to the team.
Bachelor’s degree in any related field
At least five years’ experience in the banking industry, experience in Wealth management and corporate banking is a plus
Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Proven experience as a Branch Manager or similar sales leadership role
Ability to develop effective sales strategies and action plans
Excellent relationship-building skills with clients
Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
