What you'll do:

As the Head of Retail Banking, you will play a pivotal role in driving our retail business opportunities forward. Your ability to formulate and execute strategies will directly contribute to achieving our sales and revenue targets. You will lead negotiations with potential partners, establishing agreements that benefit both parties in terms of revenue sharing, product collaboration, or joint marketing efforts. Your leadership skills will be crucial in planning, directing, and coordinating all departmental activities to ensure maximum productivity across our workforce. Your active participation in board meetings, committee meetings, staff meetings, training programs, and other professional development work will be highly valued.

  • Formulate and execute strategies and processes that contribute to achieving the bank’s sales and revenue targets
  • Lead negotiations with potential partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements relative to revenue sharing, product collaboration, or joint marketing efforts
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all activities of the departments to reach maximum level of employee productivity throughout the workforce
  • Participate actively during Board, Committee meetings, staff meetings, training programs, and other professional development work
  • Maintain business relationships with key partners to leverage on proposing new strategic initiatives
  • Ensure a high level of employee engagement and performance through effective leadership

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Head of Retail Banking position brings a wealth of experience from the consumer banking or retail-focused financial services sector. With at least ten years under your belt, you have honed your ability to formulate and execute strategies that drive sales and revenue growth. Your strong negotiation skills have led you to establish mutually beneficial agreements with partners. You have a proven track record in planning, directing, and coordinating departmental activities, ensuring maximum productivity across the workforce. Your people management skills are second to none, and you thrive on leading teams to success.

  • Graduate of any business-related course, preferably with a master’s degree in business administration
  • At least ten (10) years of work experience in a consumer bank or any retail-focused financial services institution
  • Proven people management experience
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of establishing mutually beneficial agreements
  • Ability to formulate and execute strategies that contribute to achieving sales and revenue targets
  • Experience in planning, directing, and coordinating departmental activities
