What you'll do:

As a Branch Head, you will be responsible for leading your branch towards growth and success. Your role will involve more than just managing; it will require you to sell great products, build strong relationships with customers, and help your team grow. You will also be responsible for implementing marketing strategies that promote our products, attract new customers, and maximise our existing customers' share of wallet. In addition to these responsibilities, you will also mentor and coach your team members, approve transactions, oversee customer service performance, and ensure compliance with governance and risk management requirements.

  • Make the branch the main distribution channel of the bank by selling its products and services
  • Grow and deepen relationships with existing clients by offering other products and services suitable to them
  • Implement marketing programs/strategies that would promote products, increase new bank customers, and maximise existing customer's share of wallet
  • Mentor and coach the branch sales team, Business Development Sales Officers (BDSO), Relationship Officers (RO), Sales Associates, and New Accounts
  • Approve transactions and oversee the performance of service in the branch that would impact customer satisfaction and relationships
  • Perform compliance/governance and risk management requirements based on the policies and framework set by the bank

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Branch Head position brings a wealth of experience from the banking industry along with strong leadership skills. You should have an in-depth understanding of banking products, services, and industry regulations. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with both customers and team members. A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets is essential. A Bachelor's Degree in a business-related course would be advantageous.

  • Equivalent experience in the banking industry
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing a sales team
  • In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and industry regulations
