Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join their dynamic team. This role requires a strong combination of leadership, business acumen, and sales experience to deliver results in a competitive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve the organisation's goals and drive revenue growth. This includes guiding Area Sales Directors (ASDs) and Business Sales Managers (BSMs), ensuring the achievement of assigned sales goals and quotas, coaching and mentoring the sales team, creating sales plans and workflows, hiring and onboarding new hires, organising sales training programmes, managing leads/pipeline, and overall team management.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's organisation. You will be entrusted with developing innovative strategies that drive revenue growth while maintaining a competitive edge in the market. Your leadership skills will be crucial in guiding your team towards achieving their individual and collective goals. You will also be responsible for monitoring market trends, identifying opportunities, adjusting sales strategies accordingly, conducting regular meetings, preparing insightful reports for management use, managing regulatory compliance, leading a high performing team, developing excellent customer relationships, collaborating closely with other units to align strategies with product offerings.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve objectives and drive revenue growth
  • Set sales targets and oversee the performance of the sales team
  • Monitor market trends, identify opportunities, adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to communicate targets, recognise achievements, address challenges

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Director position brings a wealth of experience from the banking industry, specifically in Retail Banking Sales. You are a college graduate with proficiency in either Mandarin or Hokkien language. Your track record showcases your ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth. You have proven experience as an Area Head or in a similar leadership role. While experience from a universal bank is preferred, we welcome candidates from commercial banks who bring the same level of commitment and expertise.

  • Proficiency in either Mandarin or Hokkien language is required
  • Minimum five years' experience in Retail Banking Sales within the banking industry
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Proven experience as an Area Head or similar leadership role in other industries
