Our client is seeking a Liquidity Trader to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the efficient management of the bank's balance sheet, ensuring sufficient funding on a daily basis while complying with internal and external policies/regulations. You will work closely with the Investment Management Head in executing balance sheet activities/strategies as per management's directive.
What you'll do:
As a Liquidity Trader, you will play a crucial role in managing the bank's balance sheet. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure sufficient funding on a daily basis while adhering to both internal and external policies and regulations. You will also be tasked with releasing money transfer advices and dealing instructions when necessary. Additionally, you will calculate the amount needed to borrow and lend for liquidity/compliance purposes. Monitoring liquidity ratios, generating analysis on the liquidity status, and proposing balance sheet restructuring are also key aspects of this role.
