What you'll do:
As a Portfolio Analyst, you will immerse yourself in the day-to-day operations of a significant core banking modernisation effort. Your role will involve close collaboration with senior leadership as well as technical teams, ensuring that all aspects of programme delivery run smoothly. You will be responsible for facilitating clear communication between various streams, preparing essential documentation that keeps everyone informed, organising impactful workshops, and supporting both risk management and change initiatives. By contributing your expertise in project planning and process improvement, you will help drive successful outcomes for one of the most important technology transformations in the region.
- Assist the Portfolio Director with daily management tasks related to the core banking modernisation portfolio, ensuring all activities are aligned with strategic objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among eight separate programme streams, fostering collaboration and shared understanding across teams.
- Support detailed programme planning by helping schedule activities, track progress against milestones, and ensure resources are allocated efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation such as status reports, budget summaries, and meeting minutes to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout each project phase.
- Organise workshops and create engaging communication content tailored for both internal and external stakeholders to promote transparency and alignment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of robust programme management processes and tools designed to enhance productivity and successful outcomes.
- Play an active role in risk management by tracking issues, identifying potential risks early, and supporting the creation of effective mitigation strategies.
- Assist with change management initiatives by communicating changes clearly across the organisation and gathering valuable feedback from stakeholders.

- Exceptional organisational abilities that enable you to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without compromising on quality or timelines.
- Excellent communication skills paired with strong interpersonal abilities that allow you to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools to plan, monitor, and report on project progress efficiently.
- Advanced analytical thinking combined with problem-solving skills that support effective project planning, execution, and monitoring activities.
- Experience preparing detailed documentation such as status updates, budget reports, meeting notes, or similar materials for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with risk management practices including issue tracking and developing mitigation strategies within large programmes.
- Understanding of change management principles with experience supporting organisational change initiatives through clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
