About the Hedge Fund Accounting, VP Role:
In this role, you will participate in fund accounting initiatives to maintain the company’s pre-eminent position in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and sign-off net asset value calculations, financial statements and associated reports
• Primary point of contact and escalation for KPIs and KRIs on the client deliverables of the team
• Oversee the daily operations of the teams and provide support and guidance in accomplishing department goals and service
• Oversee recruitment, staff assessment and capacity planning

To succeed in this Hedge Fund Accounting, VP role, you are to maintain a thorough understanding of the systems used to deploy the services and to remain apprised of regulations and laws that affect fund accounting.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Business/Accounting/Finance/Economics or any related course
• Eight or more years of experience in financial services, preferably in a fund accounting/fund of funds accounting environment with technical knowledge of accounting functions, such as portfolio and cash reconciliations, portfolio valuations and NAV calculations across different fund types
• Five or more years of experience managing people
• Extensive work experience or knowledge of custody processes and functions an advantage
