Technical Tax Coordinator

A Technical Tax Coordinator job has become available, working within the UK Fund Accounting department, responsible for the preparation of tax returns, tax reviews, and tax payments.

About the Technical Tax Coordinator Role:
In this role, you will be working within the UK Fund Accounting department, responsible for the preparation of tax returns, tax reviews, and tax payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides oversight of tax work produced by the financial reporting team, raising queries or suggestions where required
• Reviews annual CT600 returns and quarterly VAT & CT61 returns for Unit Trusts and ICVC’s within HMRC guidelines and timetable
• Provides draft CT600 tax returns for external oversight through responses for completion and filing of returns
• Reviews interim tax provisions within the daily NAVs prepared by the Manila offshore team
• Handles Quarterly Tax in Price review for all funds ensuring NAV accuracy
• Handles taxation queries from Accountants, Auditors, Client and Relationship Managers, and other partners and teams and ad-hoc requests from the London Tax Team

To succeed in this Technical Tax Coordinator role, you must collaborate with the NAV, Report & Accounts, and other teams to develop recommendations for improvement efforts.

Key Requirements:

• Graduate of Accountancy, preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Minimum of seven years of relevant work experience as a Tax Consultant
• Experience with UK tax or other foreign tax
• Preferably with an insurance background or experience in financial services under the tax department
