About the Market Valuation and Risk Management - AVP Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the market price, liquidity, operational, regulatory and reputational risks arising from trades at non-conforming prices are properly investigated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess trades and whether the transacted prices correspond to the market price levels, within specified thresholds using pre-determined methodologies
• Investigate trade exceptions and ensure that they are properly substantiated
• Engage with the relevant teams, e.g. front office, finance, middle office, BCU and compliance to ensure a timely resolution and escalation of issues
• Manage the daily requirements, regular and/or ad hoc forums and reports relating to the monitoring being performed

To succeed in this Market Valuation and Risk Management - AVP role, you will need to have the passion to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:

• Must have strong analytical, problem-solving skills and possess sound judgement
• Solid knowledge of financial market products (credit, rates, FX and equities)
• Must have a strong control mindset and good understanding of the regulatory environment
• Must possess good communication skills and be able to work in a multicultural environment with senior stakeholders across locations
• CIMA, CPA, CFA, or FRM qualifications is an advantage
