About the Head of Accounting and Controllership Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the general accounting and financial reporting functions, and the financial services area including accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directs all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting
• Develops and maintains all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Analyses company’s financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets. Issues regular status, significant findings and ad hoc reports to the board/top management. Coordinates, prepares and reviews monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Handles taxation, filing and reporting, budget preparation, strategic guidance, and other finance and administrative duties as required

To succeed in the Head of Accounting and Controllership role, you must have a strong experience in managing an accounting team, setting budgets, and analysing financial statements.

Key Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Minimum of 10 years of accounting management experience in investment banking, commercial banking, preferably with large treasury experience
• Experienced in working with auditors and regulators, and BIR
• Preferably with work experience in public accountancy
