What you'll do:


As an Investments and Corporate Finance Manager based in Taguig, you will be instrumental in driving the success of large-scale projects across renewable energy, infrastructure development, and real estate. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve building robust financial models from scratch for utility-scale ventures while analysing market dynamics specific to the Philippine context. You will navigate complex regulatory landscapes by managing permitting processes with government agencies and ensure all projects meet compliance standards. By comparing various financing structures and conducting rigorous due diligence on new opportunities, you will provide critical insights that shape investment decisions. Your ability to prepare tailored reports for management—ranging from feasibility studies to strategic memos—will empower senior leaders with the information they need to make informed choices. Additionally, your involvement in forecasting and budgeting activities will contribute directly to long-term business planning. Through diligent monitoring of industry trends and competitor movements, you will consolidate valuable intelligence that supports ongoing growth initiatives.



* Analyse market trends within the Philippine power sector by evaluating revenue paths, tariff outlooks, curtailment risks, wheeling charges, and interconnection considerations to inform investment strategies.
* Manage the permits and approvals process across various Philippine agencies including CEZA, LGU, DAR, DENR/CENRO/PENRO, DOE, NGCP, and ERC to ensure project compliance.
* Compare joint venture structures, lease or royalty agreements, revenue-sharing models, BOO/BOT/PPP frameworks, and risk allocations to recommend optimal financing terms for each project.
* Evaluate financial statements and forecasts to assess revenue potential, profitability margins, and risk profiles associated with proposed investments.
* Prepare detailed financial analysis reports tailored for management review as well as feasibility studies that support pre-investment decision-making.
* Conduct thorough due diligence processes for new investment opportunities by assessing feasibility studies and performing valuation assessments.
* Produce concise board or investment committee memos along with one-page investment snapshots that deliver actionable insights for strategic decision support.
* Participate actively in business forecasting exercises, budgeting cycles, performance analyses, and provide professional recommendations to guide management decisions.
* Monitor industry data by tracking competitor activities and consolidating findings into comprehensive market intelligence reports that inform future investments.


What you bring:


Your background as an Investments and Corporate Finance Manager should reflect proven expertise in project finance or investment analysis gained within sectors such as renewables (solar/wind), power generation infrastructure or real estate development. You bring a solid academic foundation from a top university coupled with hands-on experience building complex financial models tailored for large-scale projects. Your familiarity with local permitting requirements enables you to navigate regulatory challenges efficiently while your analytical acumen allows you to conduct thorough feasibility research backed by robust risk assessments. Effective communication is central to your approach—you excel at distilling technical information into clear recommendations suitable for senior stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Excel ensures your modelling work meets bank-grade standards while additional certifications like CFA or CPA further demonstrate your commitment to professional excellence. Your interpersonal skills foster dependable relationships with vendors and internal teams alike; together these qualities position you as an invaluable contributor who supports collaborative decision-making across all levels of the organisation.


* Graduated from a top university in the Philippines or overseas with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred for candidates seeking advanced responsibility.
* Demonstrated experience of at least 2-3 years in project finance or investment analysis
* Proven ability to build sophisticated financial models from scratch for utility-scale renewable energy projects as well as adapt modelling techniques for infrastructure
* Strong understanding of feasibility research methodologies combined with advanced risk assessment capabilities relevant to large-scale investments.
* Familiarity with Philippine permitting processes and sector mechanics or a demonstrated ability to learn these quickly through hands-on experience.
* Exceptional analytical skills paired with effective problem-solving abilities that enable you to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; experience preparing investment memos for boards or committees is highly valued.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel along with strong command of PowerPoint and Word for report preparation and presentation purposes.
* Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or MBA are considered advantageous but not mandatory.
* Outstanding stakeholder coordination skills including vendor management experience which ensures smooth collaboration throughout project lifecycles.
