What you'll do:
As Chief Financial Officer based in Makati, you will play an integral part in steering the organisation’s financial direction by developing forward-thinking strategies that support profitability and liquidity. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of financial planning—from budgeting to forecasting—ensuring that every decision aligns with both short-term needs and long-term objectives. You will supervise the preparation of complex financial reports for both local operations and overseas investments while maintaining rigorous internal controls designed to protect assets and uphold integrity. Your ability to collaborate across departments will be essential as you provide actionable insights to executive management and the Board of Directors. * Supervise accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, board presentations, and reporting for overseas investments including real estate and alternative assets.
* Establish robust internal controls to mitigate risks related to fraud, mismanagement, or breaches of regulatory requirements while safeguarding company assets.
* Monitor strict adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, corporate governance policies, and legal requirements for all deals and agreements.
* Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies such as SEC, AMLC as well as auditors and financial institutions to ensure ongoing compliance with industry best practices.
* Lead the Treasury Operations team to fulfil departmental functions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in transaction booking and fulfilment according to internal controls.
* Provide timely guidance on treasury operations through insightful reports on performance metrics and recommendations for process improvements.
* Collaborate closely with other department heads to align financial goals with broader business strategies while offering expert advice to executive management.

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; CPA or CFA qualification preferred for demonstrating advanced knowledge.
* Minimum 15 years’ experience in finance, treasury or investment management roles with at least 5 years spent in senior leadership positions within reputable organisations.
* Comprehensive understanding of Philippine capital market regulations including SEC reporting requirements
* Proven track record managing financial operations within investment houses, banks or asset management firms where attention to detail is paramount.
* Expertise in asset-liability management coupled with deep knowledge of capital markets dynamics and advanced skills in assessing financial risk.
* Exceptional leadership abilities demonstrated through successful team management along with strong interpersonal communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
* Strategic thinking capabilities enabling you to develop innovative solutions that align financial objectives with overall organisational goals.
* Experience implementing effective internal controls designed to prevent fraud or mismanagement while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws.
* Ability to build collaborative relationships with external partners including auditors, regulators and financial institutions for maintaining best practices.
