About the Investment Analyst Role:
In this role, you will provide analytical and administrative support for the team responsible for managing the company’s investment portfolio. You will work closely with the portfolio managers and Head of Investments and make sure all facts are in place when investment decisions are made.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitors and reconciles daily cash position against bank statement and invests excess cash in short-term deposits
• Works closely with portfolio managers in identifying investment opportunities/new investment products for both the equity and fixed income markets through data gathering and financial analysis for recommendations and ensuring compliance of portfolio
• Handles operational processes such as the updating of the company’s investment portfolio, review of existing processes and process improvement, and working closely with treasury to ensure timely settlement of transactions
• Prepares period reports and analysis
• Analyses investment performance and ensures all investments related documents are properly recorded and kept

To succeed in this Investment Analyst role, you must have a strong understanding of economics and financial markets.

Key Requirements:

• Graduate of BS accountancy or any finance-related course
• Must be proficient in analysing financial statements
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
