An exciting Tax Specialist job has opened up at a digital insurance company.
About the Tax Specialist Role: In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support in the preparation of the company’s tax returns such as income tax, GRT, DST and withholding taxes, etc.)
Monitor deferred tax asset/liability and assist in reconciliation between book balances and tax returns
Ensure tax payments are processed on a timely manner
Provide tax advice on transactions to stake holders within the company
Assist in the preparation of position papers/protest letters, reconciliation schedules and other supporting documents in relation to BIR audits
Monitor local tax regulation changes and assess impact to the business
Day to day support for tax and accounting operations
To succeed in this Tax Specialist role, you must have knowledge on accounting principles and/or tax regulations related to insurance industry, preferably life insurance.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance
Minimum three years of experience in a reputable insurer or Audit Firm specialising in insurance Audits
Knowledge on accounting principles and/or tax regulations related to insurance industry, preferably life insurance
Experiences in Oracle accounting system is an advantage
