What you'll do:
As the Head of Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of our client's product portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the company's overall product strategy, identifying market opportunities and emerging trends that can inform product development decisions. You will work closely with various teams within the organisation to ensure that all products meet customer needs, regulatory requirements, and company objectives. Additionally, you will manage relationships with external stakeholders and oversee administrative functions of the Product Oversight Committee.
- Drive the company's overall product strategy and set the roadmap to align with overall business objectives.
- Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, customer needs to inform product development decisions.
- Ensure the company continues to deliver innovative and best-in-class insurance and investment solutions.
- Work closely with Actuarial and Underwriting, Sales and Marketing, Operations, Legal and Compliance, and Platforms teams.
- Manage relationship with external stakeholders such as reinsurers, distributors, regulators.
- Oversee the administrative functions of the Product Oversight committee.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Head of Product Management position brings a wealth of experience in Insurance, Banking or Finance sector along with a deep understanding of life insurance industry. You are highly influential, organised and resourceful with strong communication skills. Your excellent analytical abilities coupled with your problem-solving skills make you stand out. You are comfortable working in a highly digital work setting. A similar work experience in a Multi National Life Insurance Company would be considered a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance or equivalent.
- 10-15 years’ cumulative working experience in Insurance, Banking and/or Finance.
- Strong understanding of the life insurance industry, fund management, and/or product development process.
- Highly influential, organized, resourceful with strong communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a highly digital work setting.
